Our History

Our company originated as a taxi firm in Harrow in 1971. In just a few years, we evolved into a national business offering same day courier and overnight parcel delivery. By 1986, the now much larger company became Business Post and was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1993.

Business Post expanded into mail and international delivery and then became known as UK Mail in 2009. UK Mail is now the UK’s largest independent postal operator.

With a national network of more than 50 sites and 2400 vehicles we are able to offer business customers an unique integrated service with a full range of time-sensitive and secure delivery options for parcels and letters – all of which can be tailored specifically to meet the needs of your business.

Over the past 40 years we have built up a business offering what we believe is second to none and our loyal customers now range from multinationals such as 02 and Talk Talk to family run businesses like Northamptonshire based Podington Garden Centre.
